I'm a (self-proclaimed) data-driven designer based in LA & NYC. After a past life in advertising and marketing strategy, I now create brand identities and ads backed by data and strategy. I'm naturally curious, so design gives me the perfect excuse to keep asking “why?” — and call it research.
Hi there! I'm

Connie.
When I’m not designing: I’m watching or playing tennis (rooting for Ben Shelton & Naomi Osaka), working through my current hobby rotation (right now it's patternmaking and learning plein air painting with gouache), and collecting way too many notebooks I will mostly likely never, ever write in.
Let's work together!
A fun visual of my design journey:
(Psst...I made this with HTML/CSS)
COVID gave me clarity on what I wanted to do, so I left my job to fully commit to graphic design.
Turning point:
First leap:
Learned design at Shillington, built a portfolio, but let imposter syndrome steer me back to corporate America.
"Practical" beginnings:
Studied Finance while designing flyers and tees for student groups in college.
Corporate chapter:
Worked in advertising, honing skills in storytelling, & client management—while always being the “visuals” person.
Full circle:
My winding path shaped me into a designer who thinks like a strategist and creates with intent!
